There is something for everyone in Acharavi.

You may want a relaxing holiday on the beach, round the pool with a nice evening meal then perhaps a drink in a bar to round the day off.

You may want to explore and take advantage of the many excursions available.  Or perhaps exploring under your own steam either by hiring a car or taking a walk.  There are plenty of walks to choose from.

If you like a more lively evening then you can take advantage of the many bars - some with music and some with live music.

Things To Do
Poolside Relaxation

Swimming Pools

It’s not a problem if your accommodation does not have a pool.  There are many free pools in Acharavi which are available for everyone to use.  There are some rules though !  All free pools have snack bars and you should NOT take food or drink (except baby food) and it’s good to buy something whilst you are visiting.  The pools are provided free and the owners have to make a living.  Acharavi is a family resort so respect for other pool users is a pre-requisite.

The beaches are very child-friendly as the water depth remains at waist height for tens of meters from the beach.  Obviously careful supervision of children is required and there are lifeguards patrolling the beach.  Take note of the coloured flag warning system and adhere to it.  There are some water sports available including the good old banana boat !  There are plenty of rubbish bins dotted around and in some parts of the beach there are showers to rid yourself of sand.

Excursions are a great way of seeing the island in a relaxed way with everything done for you.  You can also take the opportunity to visit the island’s capital Corfu Town.  Many people who take an excursion or a number of excursions say that they have more memories of the holiday and that it does not go so fast due to the variety of activities and the different places visited.  Click here for a full list of excursions.

Boats are synonymous with Greece so boat excursions are very popular
